NASA's Perseverance rover used its Right Mastcam-Z camera to discover a strange "Bright Angel" boulder on Mount Washburn. The latter is essentially a pair of cameras located above the Mars rover mast and captured this image on May 29, 2024 (Sol 1164). In order to reach the "Angel of Light", the "Perseverance" sailed along the ridges of the Neretva Valley river, which carried a large amount of water that flowed into the Jezaro crater billions of years ago. What is the next step for the Mars rover? Currently, it is analyzing rock outcrops to assess whether they should be collected
